The IPSSW2011 Organising Committee is proud to announce the 4th International Pediatric Simulation Symposia and Workshops (IPSSW2011) to be held in Toulouse, France October 26-27, 2011.

The congress will build on the steady successes of the three previous meetings in Stockholm, Florence, and Madrid which attracted attendees from 29 Countries and >10 pediatric and perinatal sub-specialties.

IPSSW2011 will again represent the largest single gathering devoted to Pediatric and Perinatal Simulation worldwide. Due to exponential growth since 2008 we again will plan to limit registrations in order to maintain the personal feel of the meeting and allow for fruitful small group discussion to take place between subspecialty interest groups. So please register early to insure a place!

Target audience includes all individuals interested in the art and the science of simulation based education and training for pre and post-graduate training of a wide range of multidisciplinary, multiprofessional pediatric health care providers. Keynote speakers will be drawn from internationally renowned leaders in the field accompanied by a well-rounded programme to include round table discussions in smaller subspecialty and interest groups, workshops and poster presentations.

Conference activities will take place in the Pierre Baudis Convention Center, Toulouse France. A picturesque location well-situated between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic coasts in the south of France, Toulouse will serve as another special and intimate location for IPSSW. The conference center is a prestigious venue with impressive exhibition and catering areas located among beautiful gardens in the very heart of Toulouse with easy access via public transport.
